These guidelines establish a disciplined approach to the design, development, production, and dissemination of our educational programs, products, and services that is entirely appropriate in the Laboratory's role as the world leader in robotic exploration.
The following matrix or "rubric" is based upon recognized and published research or literature from the professional educational community, and reflects characteristics for quality that have gained widespread acceptance among educators. This rubric is organized around significant issues in education (categories), and quality characteristics or indicators that exemplify each category.
